From what I understand, precise levelling is important in tilt monitors so that they can monitor very fine movements in the pitch of the ground which would follow magma influx into a near-surface body. Usually there are near-vent tilt monitors and far-field monitors, one measures movement of magma near the neck/vent complex, while the others monitor more regional deflection of the earth resulting from larger-scale magma influx below surface. By combining this data with seismic data (and in particular "harmonic resonance" which results from steady flow of magma up a conduit and subsequent chamber refilling), volcanologists can predict eruptions.

Collecting / Catching them all .. is a very basic human drive! Do you know the tv-show “Hoarders”? It’s great fun, but besides that it might give some more insight.. I also know there’s a lots of talk about this drive in “game mechanic” literature.. sometimes with pointers to psychological research papers.. I think there is way to project self confidence without being rude or arrogant. Here are some thoughts:
- Never be the one to chase after a girl. if you like her, ask her out and she doesn't respond then move on to the next. If you call her and she doesn't call back…don't call back a couple more times. If she doesnt call back then don't wait on her
- Smile often and say hello to people…try to be outgoing if you can. Provide complements to women– you look nice today, your hair is different–looks good, you are wearing a nice perfume, etc. Don't over-do it, just try making a complement or two when you can
- Walk tall and not too fast…don't strut though. Like a fighter pilot walking out to his plane before takeoff or something
- Hold doors open for women and smile at them, but then don't gawk at them….just be polite and then pretend they are not nice looking, you are just being courteous
- There are a million girls out there and so don't be in a hurry to find one…if you make yourself really available then women think you are desperate. You do that by taking your time and not jumping at every chance you have to call a girl or talk with her. Just take your time. Think about if you saw a Mustang Shelby Cobra at a dealership vs. a new Toyota Camry. yeah they are both nice cars, but man, that shelby is hard to come by…..so people want it more

It really depends on what you expect from your flight. With airlines cutting costs because people are not as willing to pay higher airfares, don't expect a hot meal like they used to serve on transcontinental flights. Air travel it seems is becoming more of a way to get from point A to point B. It is not as luxurious anymore. Just think of the hassles of going through security. Growing up, it was never like it is today. Also we were able to go to the gate to pick up our loved ones. Now we have to be at baggage claim. But I think the airlines with the exception of the low cost carriers all get an average grade (3 stars). JetBlue, Southwest and Air Tran would receive higher marks (4 – 4.5 stars).
I think a five star service would be good seat pitch versus cramming as many seats as possible on the flight. I like JetBlue with their TVs on the back of every seat. Also good service would mean an emptier plane. I don't like flying with every seat taken. I prefer a half empty plane so I can spread out and have an entire row to myself.
