MF is best clipped at the second tick if any other spells need to be cast. If you use an addon called MFClip, it will show you in the castbar where to clip it. Actually it turns SPriesting into a rhythm game without music. I highly recommend it, my DPS took a big bump after I installed it.
Yeah, test it on a dummy, SW:D is movement filler.

I read somewhere that 1 tick of Mind Flay was more effective than SW:D and it’s stuck with me since! I use SW:D when I’m moving, however.
Nice guide but you forgot a few important things. First of all you didn’t explain that you should reapply SW:Pain when you get boosted in damage in any encounter (think the Rune Circles on Iron Council for example). Secondly using Shadowfiend during Heroism does nothing. Using it just before Heroism is used on the other hand will cause your Shadowfiend to get the benefit of Heroism as well and generate a lot more mana / dps. Thirdly Potion of Wild Magic gives sp and crit. Merlijn – Turalyon (EU)

go try zul' drek, sholazar basin, then storm peaks, there are tons of quests here i flew by all my lvls just on quests, if ur sayin u have done all these, go grind exp in AV as long as bg wins u get lots of exp.
