The overriding reason is that the pharmaceutical companies that produce presciption drugs represent money in the medical industry. While there are many doctors that are very dedicated to caring and healing their patients, the medical industry as a whole is very profit driven and not always to the benefit of the patient.
There are many positive, medications that have undoubtly advanced the medical profession in so far as improving their patient's health and survivial rate. Unfortunately, the majority of traditionally educated doctors are not trained in natural healing methods because these methods are not part of the money driven pharmaceutical market. There are millions of drugs undergoing clinical trials and only drugs that are targeted for a large usage group and are guaranteed millions in profits are approved by the FDA.
The good news is that integrative medicine is becoming more recognized – it utilizes preventive health measures with traditional drug treatment.
great job done there ,in ireland blacksmithing has largley died out
The theory of relativity is now such an integral part of modern physics today that it's difficult to have any job in physics without involving it. There is no such thing as a "special degree" for just relativity, even though certain universities in the world do have a strong faculty component devoted to general relativity. The theoretical physics community is somewhat divided over the question of which will be the most fruitful direction to take us out of the impasse we've had for the past 40 years—the leading paradigm being string theory–but physicists like Penrose and Hawkings are part the general relativity camp. How to get started? Well, just major in physics, and get your BS, and decide if you want to continue on to your MS, and PhD. If you want to get into theoretical physics, then pick your colleges carefully, and get in touch with faculty members who are actively engaged in such research.
If you'd like a candid overview of the current state of physics and the issues at stake, read Lee Smolin's "Trouble With Physics". It might help you decide which direction you really want to take.

I could be mistaken, but all the literature I’ve read states that the bituminous coal in the forge, once it’s had the impurities burned out (which turns to smoke and clinker) becomes lighter and goes from black to grey, and that this is referred to as “coke”. Every book and online resource I’ve read refers to the stuff this way. It sounds like what your’e talking about is just a way to mass-produce the coke, which would of course be cost-effective for industrial settings like a steel mill.
If the PS3 version is like the 360 there's a actual Blacksmith you have to go to. There will be a "Anvil & Hammer" symbol on your map just like there would be a symbol for a merchant and runemaster. He lets you pick the item you wish to forge, then what you want to forge it with.
If you posess a degree – or any other qualification – then you'll already be ahead of the masses when it comes to searching for professions. My pal has a degree and he wasn't sure what direction to go with it, but he found some good instruction on the resource in the resource box below which helped him to settle that he wanted to be a lab assistant. There is loads of assistance on the resource regarding other professions.
WOW! Could you imagine working next to 10 other guys swinging hammers all at the same spot as hot metal splashes all over. These old videos always make me appreciate what my grandparents had to do and how much easier all work has become. Great vid.
Here is what I found; I hope it helps you locate what you want. Good luck and have fun.
