Why is my World of Warcraft installer giving me an error message?

Question by LD: Why is my World of Warcraft installer giving me an error message?
Every time I get to about 77% in the installer an error message pops up and says the installer has to close. I've tried installing it 3 times, but nothing has worked.
I've installed World of Warcraft the original game, and also patched to the latest patch. Please help, I don't know what's wrong.

This happened to me on my laptop when I tried to install Wrath of the Lich King, I'm unsure which expansion or even the regular game you are installing. Although If you start from the regular World of Warcraft and make your way through the expansions individually (Starting with the Original through in this order - Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm.) That seemed to do the trick. Also if neither I or anyone else answers this question correctly feel free to call the Blizzard Support line, although you will be on hold for some time they get the job done.
