My Boyfriend Is Risking Our Relationship By Playing World Of Warcraft, Advice?

So my boyfriend and I have been together for pretty much 3 years now and I love him so much. He use to play World of Warcraft 24/7, he's on level 60 so all of you wow players know how much time that is of playing it...too damn much! We've broken up many of times due to this game so he knows what happens when he starts playing again. Recently he told me he's getting it back and we've already fought once about it. I wouldn't mind it so much if he played it like a video game, but he acts like it's real life and that one day it will have an impact on his life as well. I don't want to control him, because I love him for who he is but, how do I get him to realize that it's JUST a game and that he doesn't really even acknowledge my presence when he plays it. I just don't want our relationship to end from a stupid game, got an advice?
