I don\’t know about you but this is a pretty narrow vision for a wow speed leveling guide. Sure it claims to be applicable for every class and race but have you ever tried to test that claim?

Why the Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide is Outdated

Let’s suppose we wanted to play the as an undead mage. I picked that one because if you ever wanted to follow along with this guide as a blood elf, well it gets worse. So, in order to follow this guide you would have to run all the way over to Brill wait for a Zeppelin to fly you across to the other side of the world and then you would have to run all the way south to Durotar. This whole journey for a low level character could take 30-60 minutes to do.

To prove my point have a friend of yours start at the same time but have him/her play either the Orc or Troll Hunter as recommended by the guide. I assure you by the time your undead mage gets over to the Orc starting zone your friend will most likely be level 5 or above. A huge advantage. This why most choose to play the through their initial starting zone quests themselves and pickup where the guide joins in the barrens around level 15 or so but doesn\’t that defeat the purpose of having a gaming leveling guide?

The second reason why Joana’s horde leveling guide is outdated is simply because it is no longer efficient. Most of the questing information is old and thanks to changes in mod development there are better ways to level your characters these days.

Why anyone would you want to use an older outdated leveling guide is beyond me. The answer is simple start playing the game efficiency. Thanks to developments from mod designers this is now possible. By using an in-game wow speed leveling guide you gain all the benefits from using gaming guide like the Joana’s horde leveling guide but without it\’s inherent issues.
