I Need Some World Of Warcraft Advice, Any Veterans That Can Help?

I've just started playing WoW and was wondering about a few things:
-Should I just get the original game and 'complete' that, or the expansion packs as well?
-Out of your experience, what are the best classes? (the most fun and most effective)
-How much is it for a UK account per month? (the WoW site is very unclear on a a lot of things)
-What kind of realms (PVP, RP etc.) are the best for playing on (in your opinion)?
Any help would be great, thanks!

considering you wont be able to access the expansion content til your in your lvl 50’s i would wait til your around that level before buying the expansion, there is no best class they are all fun in their own way, i myself had alot of fun with warlock and warrior, but that doesnt mean you will enjoy the same classes i did, best to try them all and see what ya liike. im not sure on the price monthly for the UK but i pay every 6 months at 12.99 a month( i think) $13.99USD at the most. i like the PVE realms since theres no chance of being attacked and killed randomly by other players while questing like on the PVP realms.although my tastes may not suit your playstyle, i would recommend trying everything out to see how YOU like it : )
If you just started, you have no reason to buy the expansion packs unless you want to play a Draenei or Blood Elf (Burning Crusade expansion) or have Inscription as a profession (Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
There is no best. If there were a best, nobody would play anything else.
I don’t know, I play on US servers.
What kind of realm is best is a matter of opinion. If you like PvP, play on a PvP server. If you don’t, play on a PvE server. If you like role playing, pick an RP server.
