It's basically what's been floating around in my subconscious lately too in regard to FriendFeed. I got so upset the other day that I quit responding in one on my own threads and haven't gone back to it since because I just don't need that frustration. Closest I've ever come to deleting one of my threads in the almost 2 years that I've been on the service. I was telling Tad the other day that I think part of the problem was the lack of new people to distract me from frustrations with the established folks, so you pegged that one too. I have also started spending a lot more time on Facebook, though generate a lot less conversation there, but it's surprised me and is an indicator that I'm looking for something else to fill my online needs. Twitter doesn't really cut it for me... Other services don't have the user base... not sure what to do at this point. I have to agree with most of what you wrote.
